Hello!
My name is Veronica Bane. I’m proud to have been at Smidt Tech since we opened as a founding teacher.
Currently, I serve as the AP English Literature, Common Core English 12, Creative Writing, and Leadership teacher. I am also our English department chair and an instructional coach.
When I’m not teaching, I’m also an author and ghostwriter whose debut novel comes out from Penguin Random House in summer 2025.
I’m thrilled to bring this expertise to Smidt Tech and to help the next generation of writers flourish.
