Hello Wolf Pack!

My name is Alex Madueña, and I am the Community Schools Coordinator at Smidt Tech High in Lincoln Heights.

As one of the school’s founding members, I started as an English and History teacher. Since then, I’ve played many roles on campus, including: Social Studies Department Head, 10th Grade Level Lead, SSAC Chairman, and Cross-Country coach. I’ve been fortunate enough in my time at Smidt Tech to have also received professional accolades, including being Alliance’s Teacher of the Year in 2017.

I now dedicate my time to strengthening our school community through creating meaningful partnerships that reflect the heart of Lincoln Heights. 

Outside of work, you’ll likely find me exploring mountain trails through hiking or trail running.

These adventures recharge my energy and creativity, helping me bring fresh ideas and inspiration to everything I do with our students, families, and staff.
